The technology has several benefits to the patients and healthcare system in general. For instance, it increases the level of precision particularly in surgeries. Also, the robots are effective in performing bulky work (Broadbent et al., 2016). • Perceived weaknesses: Robots are computerized and therefore prone to errors and external manipulation. They are expensive to acquire. • Perceived opportunities: Robots could be programed to perform more detailed roles including prescription and monitoring patients (Broadbent et al., 2016). They can be incorporated in other healthcare departments including pharmacy and laboratory. • Perceived threats: It will promote joblessness among health workers.
